Sometimes I feel like everyone on this forum has almost nothing in common.

it's true, bear. Forums are built around things in common. What do we have? Just Olde Vidya Gaem

We need more strangeness among peoples who doth comes to this place!
And once strange becomes normal, we do this all again!

Why do you want people here to have everything in common? (That would be boring.)

I like my friends for what we have in common, not what we don't. Logic fail. >^..^<

I like my friends because they're likeable people. If I tried to find someone who had enough in common with me, well, I'd be looking a very long time.

That is the way of it. Descent is dead, and nothing is yet on the horizon to bring it back to life. Doesn't do any good to lament the state of the forum based primarily upon it. We have a degree of mutual familiarity, and that seems to be enough. I'm pretty sure we'll be condemning each other in the E&C until civilization as we know it comes tumbling down. And maybe even into 2013.
