I'm blossoming into old-fart-hood and noticed my pitch black hair being mixed with white hair. On closer inspection I've noticed that my white hair is much straighter than my black hair.

What witchcraft is this?

Side effect of traveling into the future ... day by day.

Personally, I wish my white hairs would hurry up and take over. They've got a lot more curl and wave than my dark brown originals. I'd love to have a full head of white.

since thicker hair shafts tend to be straighter hairs as a rule, perhaps this points to the white hairs being thicker (?)

I'm gonna look so bad ass into my 60s, that's all I can say.

I don't believe you're getting old.

Almost all of my hair is now gray and the texture is horrid. I used to have hair that had some natural body and curl to it. But now, if I let it get long, it looks and feels like unruly straw sticking out every which way. I now have very short, unruly hair, like most old ladies who've given up trying to deal with their gray hair.
