You don't? I remember a number of similar texted/forum-post threats against Obama (though I don't remember any of them being from self-proclaimed skinheads/neo-nazis). I recall hearing about them against Bush as well, when he was elected and again during the Katrina thing. Honestly, it sounds similar to most election years to me.

Heck, the death threats towards Obama pre and post-election in 2008 were countless. I read dozens. Further, it's worth noting that whackjobs are still taking potshots at Obama campaign centers....the latest in Denver a few days back. Oddly, I don't recall one person generalizing that attack as a blanket condemnation of conservatives, Republicans or any other larger group. I guess Woody might be alone in his paranoia.

Not that it is an authority, but Wikipedia has a list of Assassination threats against Barack Obama. Note: This is a good place to start your research.

If you mean to equate "skinhead" with "white-supremest," then yes, these people made assassination threats against Obama. Oh, they were also neo-nazis.

I seem to remember just after the theater shooting that Brian Ross tried to pin the shooter as a Tea Party member. As such I always take a GOP member reported as a Obama hater with a very large does of salt.
