It is sad you don't realize how good this makes Obama look. If you did, you wouldn't post it. We are going to have international relations with these countries no matter who is in office. What this says is that foreign relations will be better with our current president that with Romney. That is also hugely important for our economy, which is Romney's only selling point. I'm sorry ThunderButt, but this only makes Obama look better, not worse.

Per usual, the comments in that article are pretty goddamn scary. Apparently "bombin' all dem dere turrists" is the only option for foreign relations.

Let's explore that option, shall we? (since we're already in the land of the ridiculous and bonkers)

America starts to bomb Russia, Iran, China and anyone else that's foreign. What happens next? Russia counters, China counters, and anyone who's allied with both countries assists. Seven years later and all countries are in tatters.

In tatters and/or irradiated wastelands.

You see, they approve because they see Obama as a weak leader that is easy to push. All of the mentioned dictators have said themselves they are enemies of the United States. Why would you want to elect a leader that your enemies prefer?

Lol, because they can't think for themselves and are trying like hell to fit in. Who even has a pick in these races?

Or maybe they actually see him as someone they might be able to hold a conversation with, instead of the ridiculous military wanking that Romney's been spouting.

You always deal with enemies from a position of strength. Sun Tzu would look upon Obama's weakness as an opportunity to take down a major power's influence- they see Obama as an accelerator for America's decline.

Holding an apology tour and then loading up the nation with exponential debt from massive socialism is the kind of rot that they appreciate in Obama. They want America's strength to rot from the inside out. Obama provides this.

Obama's bowing and open hand are also seen as weakness- not friendship- since they have never been interested in 'friendship.'

It is weakness...not strength...that invites war and chaos.

No, they want friendship. They also want to increase trade and wealth, which is fine. They're not the enemy. We just keep telling them they are. It's our fault they're arming up.

The only real enemy we have are religious extremists.

(Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin took a leading role in the latest tests of Russia's strategic nuclear arsenal, the most comprehensive since the 1991 Soviet collapse, the Kremlin said on Saturday.

The exercises, held mostly on Friday, featured prominently in news reports on state television which seemed aimed to show Russians and the world that Putin is the hands-on chief of a resurgent power.

Tests involving command systems and all three components of the nuclear "triad" - land and sea-launched long-range nuclear missiles and strategic bombers - were conducted "under the personal leadership of Vladimir Putin", the Kremlin said.

An RS-12M Topol Intercontinental Ballistic Missile was launched from the Plesetsk site in northern Russia, and a submarine test-launched another ICBM from the Sea of Okhotsk, the Defence Ministry said.

Long-range Tu-95 and Tu-160 bombers fired four guided missiles that hit their targets on a testing range in the northwestern Komi region, it said.

"Exercises of the strategic nuclear forces were conducted on such a scale for the first time in the modern history of Russia," the Kremlin statement said.

"Vladimir Putin gave a high evaluation to the combat units and crews and the work of the Armed Forces General Staff, which fulfilled the tasks before them and affirmed the reliability and effectiveness of Russia's nuclear forces."

We can look as weak as we want. No one can touch us on military might. Are you scared little guy? Don't be. Those big scary men like Putin, Chavez, and Castro aren't going to hurt you. Think of our apparent weakness like this.

EDIT: Also, if you think the answer is for us the have a tough-guy president, then you are no better than these dictators. You realize that, right? Probably, not...

EVERY leader would take a leading role in the defence of their country. This isn't news.

The only place where Romney stands a chance seems to be America. And, well, Pakistan.

Well, at least most of the rest of the world knows what they're doing.
