Only in the heyday of Emperor Nero would we find vignettes like:

Mayor Bloomberg praising Obama for his climate change work while his city lies devastated.

Mayor Bloomberg making sure the NYC marathon is held, complete with generators and food, Meanwhile his citizens are dumpster diving for food and have no power.

After making time for photo ops in his command bunker and with Governor Christie, Obama is back to doing the really important work...getting re-elected. All the while leaving storm survivors to either starve or freeze to death.

Help from out of state utility workers are turned away in New Jersey because they are, well...non-union.

And to complete the play, supporters of Obama were chanting "Hail Obama" at a rally in Florida. It would seem Emperor Nero is alive and well this day.

Yea, it’s funny how the worm turns, the storm has helped the prez look “presidential” while leaving Romney in the awkward position of not being able to take advantage…then just as you think it’s an advantage for the prez…he has to go back to the trail.

I've gotta call you on this Woody. your bitching about politicians making this political. But you by your very words you have made this political. that's quintessential Hypocrisy

you are no better than TC is, with her complaining bout Romney providing food and clothing to the devastated. ARE YOU FRIKKIN KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!
it makes you look like a shallow political hack. wanting to do nothing more than FIND and MAKE blame. if someone looks hard enough there is ALWAYS a reason to feign blame on someone.
There are some things that should rise above the Political rhetoric. It's only been 72 hours, and there are agencies in place to address these issues. I'm sure you remember a little storm called Katrina and how TC blamed and STILL DOES blame Bush for what happened.

Ummm...is there anything untrue about what I posted? And since I'm not a politician, I can't make it political

Well I sorry you feel as you do. Take what you said and repeat it to those people waiting for help as they sit freezing and starving in their homes. Then have them tell you how they feel when they learn that a trivial event like the NYC marathon gets food and generators and they get forgotten. I didn't make this political, the politicians in charge did.:

"‘We Need Food, We Need Clothing’: Staten Island Residents Plead for Help 3 Days After Sandy"

“We’re going to die! We’re going to freeze! We got 90-year-old people!” Donna Solli told visiting officials. “You don’t understand. You gotta get your trucks down here on the corner now. It’s been three days!”

OK Devils advocate. and you know I'm no fan of Obama

Mayor Bloomberg praising Obama for his climate change work while his city lies devastated. and how do you equate his statement on Climate change and his city in ruins. did he lay blame on the republicans for what happened, or did he just make a political speech??

Mayor Bloomberg making sure the NYC marathon is held, complete with generators and food, Meanwhile his citizens are dumpster diving for food and have no power. some people would say that going on with the marathon is both good for the economic recovery of the city and for the moral of the city

After making time for photo ops in his command bunker and with Governor Christie, Obama is back to doing the really important work...getting re-elected. All the while leaving storm survivors to either starve or freeze to death. and as I stated, what exactly do you want Obama to do?? there are agencies in place that will handle this. if he had done what Romney did, you'd criticize it as a photo op just like TC did  it's pure political Hyperbole and you know it. I don't see you criticizing Romney for being back on the election trail.

Help from out of state utility workers are turned away in New Jersey because they are, well...non-union. who turned those people away??? Unions??? Gov Christie???? Obama???? you post would like us to believe that it was Obama that did it

And to complete the play, supporters of Obama were chanting "Hail Obama" at a rally in Florida. It would seem Emperor Nero is alive and well this day.

so your saying that Sandra is Obama's fault and that the devastation caused by it is Obama's fault, and that him not personally bringing food or Clothing to those is Need is him not caring about the people of this country?? thats just more political BS and you know it.

3 days divided by 54 Million people. 2.7 million in the NYC area alone. there is not agency in the world that could help those people in a manner that would satisfy and provide for everyone. katrina was a perfect example. YEARS later not everyone has been satisfied. 3 DAYS?!?!?!?!?!? are you kidding me. people are pulling guns on others because they have to wait in line to get gas

What Romney did was a JOKE. The Red Cross wants money and blood donations for disaster relief, NOT CANNED FOOD! They don't have the infrastructure to handle it! If Romney had any smarts, or could READ THE RED CROSS WEBPAGE, he'd have seen that putting food in a truck that was bought by his own staffers for the purpose of a wasted photo op was an act of pure idiocy! The man personally has the cash to help out half the people of the eastern seaboard, and he can't even think of writing a simple personal check, out of his own coffers (in the Caymans), for a little disaster relief. HAAHAAHAAHAA! MORON!

Whether you like it or not CUDA, BUSH trashed things so bad with his 2 very EXPENSIVE DEBT CREATING WARS that it's going to take a looooooong time to fix the economy, IF EVER. He embedded his cronies so deep in the government and civil service, they're like a cancer eating away at it on a mission of destruction. Obama hasn't had much luck and Romney and his cronies in Wall Street would do no better. We are now in a world of global arbitrage and dwindling resources, and like it or not, neither Obama nor Romney is going to fix the fact that we will now have to lower our standard of living in the U.S., all to live in this new global economy. Calling me a child will not change that fact one wit.
