Now, if ordinary Americans had seen Mitt doing that little bit of mundane dirty work before the election, they would have seen that maybe, he could be one of them.

I had the same thought, TC. This is the Mitt they should have run, instead of Mr. 47% campaigning from his $800K speedboat all summer. He probably would've still lost, but who knows?

Even putting the gas-pumping aside, the guy looks like a total mess in that pic. Though granted, most of us probably wouldn't look that great if someone shoved a camera in our faces while we were pumping gas.

I dunno.....stuff me 20 hours a day into a suit for 2 years straight, and once I got the chance, I would be beyond 'disheveled'....
