This is a petition that makes sense!

Wouldn't it be good for Obama to actually put h̶i̶s̶ OUR money where it is most needed?

why not spend the Federal dollars anyway? I'm not going to quibble over the President getting vacations(never have before, not starting now...Bush
vacationed after Katrina, right?). You can toss in Accomac and Northampton Counties in VA, while you're at it, although I strongly suspect you don't give a rat's ass about any of those people, TB.

Yes, we should spend the money anyway…

I was watching the News Hour the other day, and they were interviewing this guy about the deficit and Medicare…it began with the need to control spending, and in less that 2 minutes he was going on about how Medicare should be covering other things like hearing aid batteries and dentures…

This is a sickness in my opinion…a true addiction to spending, no different then any other addiction.

No, I don’t think we should deprive the president of a vacation, but I do believe…if true, that 4 million dollars is just a tad…..what’s the word…

Disaster relief on the other hand is a different subject, and as the government can help in these events, they can also be part of the problem, like with that god awful program called The National Flood Insurance Program.

Are you sure this is $4 million in *additional cost* ? My point is, they'll spend the $4 million no matter what. It's the ★■◆●ing government.

Hah! $4 million? That's nothin'! I demand we get back the $124 million we spent on Bush W's vacations, the record holder! :twisted2:

That's not counting what we're still paying to subsidize Bush W ($1.3 million), and Clinton ($1 million), and H.W Bush ($879,000), and Carter ($518,000)..........
