So when you're painting any type of models (large scale or gaming miniatures), which type of paint do you use? Acrylics or Enamels?

I use acrylics because they are more mixable with Distilled Water and they are more artistic than enamels becuase well... enamel paints are thick, smelly, and sloppy in my opinion. For good brands of acrylics I used are from Vallejo (game colors and model colors), Reaper, Games Workshop, and Testors Model Master Acryl.

PS- Should this thread be in the PTMC Gallery? (since it has to do with model painting)

Acrylics. They dry faster, clean up and thin easier and are durable. They airbrush better and are also nice for doing wash effects when thinned. In an enclosed space, you don't get that hydrocarbon stench either.
