I hate deviant art, and am morally opposed to it.

It has some very good artists on it simply because of the size, but there are so many simply bad artists that the entire site becomes pointless.

Even with the worse art, you'll get replies like "wow! it could use some work, but i like the colors!" and the most amazing pieces ive ever seen in my life get comments like "ooh! thats reely reely good how you do that? :? "

I'll continue hosting my own artwork on my own site, thx.

Yea, I really like robo's space stuff. I made a smaller scale imitation based off the same techniques he used (i made mine 100% from scratch though, neener :P ).

File is 270 kb and im imbedding it, don't kill me MD:

The star effects where probably made in Photoshop or whatever he drew that in. Far easier than using photos :)

king for a day is your best piece; you should clean up some of those lens flares in bottom right though.

oh, and you still have to tell me how you make those planetary rings.
