While creating the electricity may be "Green" the production and post-use state are not. Granted that the life of a solar cell (under favorable conditions) is something like 20 to 25 years, that's still a lot of e-waste down the way.

Earth shattering? no. But we need to keep all things in mind when we find a new golden calf. Nothing is free.

Yeah, I was gonna say, even if it were the case that Germany received more sunlight per unit area than the US (which it certainly doesn't), we have waaaaay more area in the first place. So, yeah.

Just read in TV Guide that Fox and Friends is one of the most popular morning talk shows. Gag me! No wonder people's minds are warped!
