actually this is some funny stuff, and while completely ridiculing the recent CPAC meeting, does raise real issues around why the right seems headed for irrelevance:

All you had to do was listen to Rand Paul's speech at CPAC. Even though he acknowledges that things need to change for the party to get more of the vote, he's STILL clueless.

Anytime I want to read from the far left Slick, all I have to do is read any of your posts here.

if you think I'm far left, you are WAY out of touch with your nation's politics.

Remember, most "conservatives" today are so far right, the center has moved,
farther to the right. Most Republicans from the past of my childhood would be considered
liberal by today's Republican standards.

true....no way Rockafeller, Nixon, Eisenhower, Roosevelt(Teddy) nor Lincoln would be accepted today as Republicans. Heck, Goldwater and Buckley would likely fall short of the 'conservative' mark today. Sad, really, because that is exactly what is pushing the GOP into the ditch.

we're just trying to stay out of the sewer that the liberals have been living in for decades and like a tornado the only safe place is in the ditch.

Not a chance. Unlike liberals, conservatives don't like to wallow in their muck

heck, most liberals and moderates don't even try to deal in 'muck', by my observation.......
edit for CUDA--speaking of wallowing in one's own muck, I saw you chose not to respond to me elsewhere when I pointed out that you had been dealing in bogus comparisons for the sake of making ideological points. Cat got your tongue, eh?

uhm sorry I have a life other then just posting on these forums. you'll notice that in 12 years on this forum I've only accumulated a bit over 4 thousand Posts where you have posted almost 3000 times in just over a year. and you've posted 5 times as many posts as I have on the other forum and we joined on the same day
PLUS the fact that as is typical for you, you continually deflect from the topic at hand. and until you admit to the posted facts about the PA then I don't wish in engage in any further hyperbole and deflection from you.

Conservatives just happen to like existing their muck. It still stinks at times to those outside the cage however.

Welp, at least you can say that no matter what kind of background, age, gender or education you have all had, you still managed to all find the same level.

Isn't that where people like to play, in the mud?
