Anyone have any experience with these routers?
I'm looking into this one.

D-Link AC1750 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router (DIR-865L)

Want to know if it really makes a difference with connectivity and speed?

do you have any 802.11ac devices? If you don't, then you aren't going to see any difference.

Really? Well, that sucks. I thought it was an extension of N.

here's another question. Wouldn't it be better to buy this now and when I get AC devices I will be better? The sites says it's compatible with A/B/G/N so it would work and maybe the new technology would be better anyways

Future devices and revisions of the AC standard may considerably improve performance when you actually get around to it. Although if you were going to buy a router now, I'd highly recommend you get something that is fully IPv6 compatible, or you may end up having to replace it again in a year or two anyway.

The one I was looking at is IPv6 compatible.
