Must be a slow news day…

Some of the comments made by those horrible sexist pigs…happen to be true…but let’s not have a discussion on that…let’s just get offended and start calling names.

Political discourse…….what a joke in modern America.

Would you care to enlighten us in your wisdom as to which comments those would be?

Woody is close to correct....Williams is and has always been a classic centrist. Certainly no 'righty'

Its no wonder you consider you consider yourself a centrist. You don't know what one is. Williams calls him self to the left.

Hey, Greta just came up a notch in my book. Maybe not all of the Fox News "personalities" are complete idiots. :P

no, Mr Ham-hands(still struggling with that tablet, I see)......Juan Williams considers himself to be centrist(maybe left center, but not left-wing), and self-describes, in everything I've read of late, as 'to the left' of his Fox colleagues, who are generally far Right.

why does FOX even employ women? HOW IS BABBY FORMED?
a house of cards, this corporation will inevitably meet modern reality and crash.

Your wrong Roid. The Fox women are all too good looking for the news network to fail. Why do you think they call it "Fox" news?

Oh look, you're only the millionth person i've seen who espouses a woman's worth by her sexual attractiveness to the men around her, also how thread-relevant of you thankyou~~~!.

YOU PROBABLY WIN A PRIZE.
I'M PUKING A LOT TODAY SO HERE GRAB A BUCKET WORTH, YAAAAAAY 4 U.

Seriously, you guys don't have to resuscitate old threads for this kind of banter...

Please change "guys" to "guy" as I didn't resuscitate it. And disappointed to see bantering is not allowed here. Chill dude

No one said bantering isn't allowed. I'm just wondering why roid resurrected the thread, and you jumped in so quickly. Surely you guys can find more recent threads around here...

I'd just like to point out that in the world of media, a woman's attractiveness to the men around her (and in the audience in particular) is EXACTLY what she is valued by. But let's blame Woody for it because he's here. :P Continue puking.

Could it be that the better a woman looks is inversely proportional to how smart she is? And that FOX News viewers like their female anchors blonde, cute, dumb and pliant, which is better to spout FOX's propaganda to the usual FOX males who like to think with their little brains most of the time? Fortunately I can get away with saying this because I'm a woman. If you're a man, you're SOL. :P

Oh, and FOX News gets to have Hasselbeck now.

No, I believe that things that give someone “good looks” such as facial symmetry, lack of brow ridges, closed mouth breathing etc., are actually signs of good genes.

So sayeth the science shows I’ve been watching…

So why does FOX News hire mostly blonde bombshells that sound like they have the I.Q. of a turnip? :P And why are women paid 19% less than men in equivalent fields? And why do this to most women if men aren't always thinking that they're smarter than the average female?

I don’t have all of the answers tc, but I’m willing to bet many smart women would play dumb, just to land a job at FOX.

Spidey, I can't argue with that. It's is a sad, true fact that many women use that very tactic. You'll have to admit though, when a woman is physically weaker than a man, emotional logic sometimes works wonders as a tool women will utilize to get what they want from men.

However, I'm betting that the man at the top, Roger Ailes, really likes those blonde bimbos and makes a conscious, or unconscious  , choice to hire them over others.

Nah. I've decided that the obvious trend there is actually a result of women with good looks not having to achieve as much to get ahead.

You guys probably didn't see Megan Kelly rip those guys on air. Man it's beautiful. She's totally on point. I can now say there is something I like about Fox News: Megan Kelly (though I personally don't think she's much to look at).

And after watching the dumb ass non blond bimbos at CNN, I'll take the blonds at Fox any day. And lets face it, reporting the news of a teleprompter doesn't take the brightest bulb...male or female.

I guess between Megan Kelly and Greta Van Susteren, there is hope for FOX.

You've got a point there. So it seems the trend is on most networks: It must be those male CEO's who like blonde bimbos for hiring as on-air talent  and eye candy. Do you think they might just be catering to their mostly male audience? It certainly ain't attracting a female audience. :P

I think it makes a difference if someone is fairly intelligent, personally.

TC, I think that you underestimate that a lot of women who are trying to be attractive would want to watch someone who they believe is succeeding. Just a thought.

Attractive women will always like the attention those types of jobs bring. Smart women who are not so attractive and don't have the advantages beauty gives them in the public sphere will roll their eyes and scoff.
