Wasn't the NSA supposedly working on compromising SSL? I'd be willing to bet that the NSA can watch your searches on this site just fine...

My solution: stop living under the illusion that you have any privacy and live a clean life so they don't have any reason to come after you.

They probably can't break SSL encryption itself, but I wouldn't be surprised if they possessed rogue SSL certificates. Something like this would help with that:
