The really neat thing, this was an unmanned flight, from launch to landing.

No, a shuttle. Not a space program.

They scrubbed it after the one shot. Too pricey.

I remember that thing. The Buran, which meant "snowstorm" in Russian. Wasn't there an outcry that they just copied the U.S. version, at least the exterior?

It's kinda cool how it just disappears into the cloud cover..... maybe there was really a giant monster up there gobbling it up...
