Help with new install

I ran D1X Rebirth a few years back and had a blast with it. I have since reinstalled Windows XP on my computer. Everything is the same. Same hardware, same Voodoo 5 card. I have installed everything like before, but the game is running at 5 FPS. Do I need a different driver for my Voodoo card? I can't recall if I used a different driver in the past. I am currently just using Microsoft driver. Any help appreciated Thanks !!

Hey Beeb.

Good questions. The newer versions are requiring more resources so the older setup might have a time running it.

I really recommend heading over to the Rebirth Forums as they can give you a more thorough and quicker response.

Thanks Duper. When I was running it a few years back it was version 0.53. It ran at about 60 FPS. I still have those old files so I tried installing that version and still no luck. I am forgetting something because it ran superbly on this same machine. I will try the rebirth forums... Thanks !

Most likely it is because you are using the Microsoft drivers for the voodoo card, they don't work for 3D accelerated stuff very well if at all.
