This Classless President

So while all of us agree that Mandela was the epitome of a classy leader and deserving of greatness, alas, the stark comparison between him and our truly inept, juvenile leader was on full display at Mandela's funeral. What should of been a time of solemn respectful demeanor, what we had from our president was a disgraceful exhibition of hormonal lust between him and Denmarks sleazy Prime Minister. Now before all of your liberal sexual organs shrink into your liberal body cavities, this is not just me who thinks this way. A few excerpts from a New York Post article:
"In front of 91 world leaders, the mourning nation of South Africa and Obama’s clearly furious wife, Michelle, the president flirted, giggled, whispered like a recalcitrant child and made a damn fool of himself at first sight of Denmark’s voluptuously curvy and married prime minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt."
"With Michelle glowering, the world judging and mental fidelity floating into the abyss, the president leaned into the air space of the cross-legged Danish cupcake, who is known in Copenhagen as a fan of America’s randy TV show “Sex and the City.’’ It was the memorial equivalent of a bodice-ripper. Thorning-Schmidt placed her hands dangerously close to Obama’s side. The president’s cackling head moved inches from the Danish tart’s and yards away from his wife’s. Obama then proceeded to absorb body heat from the Dane, which he won’t be feeling at home for a long time."

While I once respect Obama primarily as being a good father, I now have to retract that respect as how he performed at a huge public event like the funeral of a truly good man, shows how little he cares for his daughters mother and what little respect he showed to the woman he married. I suppose Obama thinks the Clinton model of how to treat your wife is one to follow but at least Clinton tried to keep his lusts private. Obama puts them on the world stage and at a funeral no less. The trouble is, if Obama takes this too far, unlike "What Difference Does It Make" Hillary, I think Michelle will handle things much differently.

I'm not sure I see lust there, but a definite disconnect from the ceremony, especially considering it was Nelson Mandela's memorial. Twice I've seen Michelle pull him back in line. Once when he first got elected and stepped out of the limo to walk down the street. He almost got a JJ walker strut goin and she reached out and grabbed his hand. Tightened him right back up and now, this. Where she has to sit between what seems to be 2 unruly children who don't fully grasp the gravity of the situation.

Nah, not lust, just boredom relief. Not very classy at such a somber occasion either. But hey, he looks more sloshed than lustful. Maybe that was why Michelle looked so ticked off with him.

Mandel's funeral should have been more of a party than some uptight event. He lived to be 95. That's kick ass. He did great things and should be celebrated. It's not like his life was cut short tragically. Maybe it's because of my Irish family upbringing that I don't see the funeral of someone who lived into their 90's and had a good life as a tragedy. How dare the president be cheerful! How dare he be a human being! Let's put it this way, at least Obama was being honest at the funeral and wasn't putting on an act. Of course, the haters hate everything he does so there is no winning with them, and it's ridiculous to even pay attention to stuff woodchip says. Can't fix a broken record.

Yes, and of course the opposite is...he can do no wrong in the eyes of some.
Haters and lovers…I have problems with both types. >smirk<

Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with turning a funeral into a party, just make sure everybody else is onboard first!

Me too. Though the extreme lovers of Obama are much more rare, but that goes along with any presidency I imagine. It's weird to see this obsession people have with Barack Obama, people like TB and woodchip who can't contain themselves. I mean seriously, if Obama saved a basket of kittens from tornado they would somehow blame him for causing the weather. It's a sign of mental illness for sure.

Funerals are solemn events. If you want to party then have a wake afterward where you can party all you want.

Don't hate the guy any more than it appeared you hated Bush. I just have no respect for him.

Yeah, just like Bush was blamed for Katrina.

I voted for Bush. I didn't vote for Obama. I still think Obama is doing a slightly better job only because he hasn't started a war that killed half a million people. Yet.

Katrina wasn't a bureaucratic mess?

It was a bureaucratic mess. Only it was the Dems in LA that squandered money for the dikes and were directly responsible for their states citizens. But hey, the Dems could blame themselves when someone like Bush was in office.

Admit it, buddy, you secretly fap to the Obama shrine in your closet every night, don't you? It's okay, we won't judge you.

but, it wasn't a funeral, that was held two days later. This was a memorial ceremony, meant to celebrate his life.
