-37c with wind this morning. Witnessed a accident on the highway coming into work. Guy in a pickup 2 cars ahead of me hit the centre medium and ended up flipping his pickup onto his side. Pulled over and called 911 while others were helping him.

You're just getting a nastier dose of what we got a week before Christmas. Corvallis/Albany/Eugene got more snow than anywhere else in the Willamette Valley that week, and it stuck around because it got down to -5f at night and never got above 15f during the day. They didn't even bother to plow the roads, because they don't really have the equipment here and this was a rare 40 year event. I did get to go out and play in my 4WD on the empty roads during that Sunday morning though. Yee haa! Have fun.

Our maritimes are getting pummeled now. Some places are flooding.
