Hey Guys,
Pics here of a 3D-printed Pyro! My younger brother made this for me for Christmas, and wanted to share some pics. The guns had to be glued (broke upon delivery) and the engines didn't come out too well, but still resemble the thrusters. The 3D model used was MetalBeast's.
I've perused this forum / PlanetDescent / Dbb.com since way back in middle scool! Almost out of college now, and still happily enjoying the Descent series.
Anyway, enjoy the pics!

Re: 3D-Printed Pyro GX!
can your brother make one with a 24" wingspan?
Re: 3D-Printed Pyro GX!
Very nice, I hope you can feel the envy from here! I'm hoping to print my own once me and a friend have finished building a 3D printer we're working on.
Why so huge Ferno? At that size 3D printing is even more expensive, and it would be easier to CNC it out of MDF and assemble it, or just cut out parts by hand.

Very cool! In the unlikely event that I someday have more money than I know what to do with, I always thought it would be cool to commission a life-size replica of a Pyro GX as a gate guard...
