I'd like to have better health, but despite that, my husband makes me very happy. So does chocolate.

Ditto.
Being with family at the beach or out in the woods away from stuff.
That and also after being about an hour into prayer.

Several times I helped people who have been in serious trouble. No one else could, but I was able to help them. Then I was happy.

I also get a big high from helping others whether it's at work or personal.

Happy or satisfied?
I enjoy being able to help other people, which is why I drift around 'generative' forums.
I enjoy sitting down with a good book
I enjoy doing an activity that uses my whole body (eg using a chainsaw and cutting down a tree)
I also enjoy exercising my brain, solving problems, programming etc.
But as with others, the things I enjoy most are with other people. Either with my family, the dinner conversations or just sitting and watching a movie, or with my group of friends, when we sit around and uni, make fun of each other, play endless games of cards, and generally have a good time.
If I am to hazard a guess, I'd say that 'stuff' can never make you happy. Coca Cola is not joy in a bottle, nor can the latest Iphone/android/computer bring more than satisfaction at what you've bought.

I second that. Perimenopause = no sleep most nights. Menopause = lousy sleep for the rest of your life. I miss that really deep sleep I had as a teenager.

That's not happiness. That's sadism. Unless you get happy being a sadist.

EDITED:
Happiness is building a project, and getting to use a bunch of parts I have in stock.

I'm pretty much at my happiest when I'm out alone in the woods away from it all. Strangely enough I haven't done any solo camping yet, but when camping in a group there's nothing like breaking off on my own, scouting, or forging ahead and just enjoying nature. Exploring, identifying trees, plants, birds, animals...
Having a project to build on--creating something. One of the things that would make me supremely happy, that I haven't done yet, would be to buy a piece of land and build-improve on it with my own two hands. A house, a workshop, my own water source(s), as much energy independence as I feel like having. Nothing against contracting some jobs to an expert, but to take a piece of property and shape it to your needs as best you can would be just great, IMO. Homesteading, I guess you would call it. I don't have any romanticized notion of being low-tech, but there is something to be said for having a solid grasp on everything that serves you, and being able to be as independent as you want to be.
Family will always be high up there, but it can be difficult when you only have so much in common and no one seems to be terribly interested in nurturing the commonalities... That said, my survival camping has always been with family so far, and it's awesome.

As I understand you ! My family has owned several town houses, including the 18th-century merchant's house , which is under state protection as monument ancient Russian architecture , which survived even household items . But in my initiatives constantly interferes my father . I too would like to purchase a small plot of land to build my house and bath on it. That no one can interfere. I love the landscape design, I love to do alpine slides , put plants and watch them grow and care for them. But the plants and trees , which I put a lot of labor and love often destroyed endless construction activity my relatives . So I want to have your own country house.
I want to wish you , so that you can realize your dream , Sergeant Thorne!

Well let's both realize them, then.
Thanks, Sigma.
