Seems Snowden is being nominated for the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize:
Two Norwegian lawmakers say they have jointly nominated former NSA contractor Edward Snowden for the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.

If successful perhaps at the next world conference Snowden and Obama can have a photo op together showing off their medallions.

Re: Strange Bedfellows
It seems the criteria for receiving the award has changed towards a political stance.
I admire Snowden and the more I learn the more I'm pleased he did what he did but he hasn't created peace, nor moved us closer to peaceful conditions.
Then again, if you look at the reasons given for awarding the prize to Obama and try to reconcile them with reality you can at least say that Snowden is a step back away from political toward the sensible.

I'm still not entirely sure of what I think about Snowden. Maybe he thought the domestic enemies were far more dangerous than the foreign ones.

Yeah, and each time he dribbles out into the press a little more of the nastiness that our government is up to, he moves slowly towards hero status.
