Dammit...there goes another $5.

(I actually never bought D2 on there, since I don't think they discounted it when it was added.)

Now the question is... does it work? Will have to see what others' experiences with it were. If they didn't fix it I may not be able to use it anyway...

Edit: Looks like the answer is no, reviews/forum posts indicate that they probably haven't made any changes to the game - still a lot of people having problems running it.

I'll gladly be the guinea pig here.
I won't be able to test extensively until this weekend because of work though. I'll start a new thread on my experiment most likely Sat morning or Sunday.

And a bunch of people also say they can't invert their mouse axis, so I'd take some of the technical difficulty comments with a grain of salt.

lol.. yeah, he set the sensitivity in the wrong direction. I think we all did that when we first played D3.

I've been trying to help people get Vortex up and running and it's amazing how many people think Steam servers are the only game servers... not even thinking to ask if there's something else.

Win7 64 bit here and the Steam version has worked flawlessly for me. After I dusted off my joystick (a lesser Precision 2; my 3D Pro is enshrined), so much nostalgia came rushing in. Guess I know what my next LAN party is gonna be...
