Kerry flips the bird to the head of "Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry" in front of school children.
Discuss.

My initial reaction was that the guy he flipped off is probably an asshat but do you want a president who's temper is so easily triggered by an asshat? I don't!
He really lowered himself by flipping the guy off. And screaming out "Sampley is a felon!" sounds like he was actually desperate to come up with an attack to equal Sampleys which only validates it.

Trivial. I couldn't find the story anywhere else, though. I was kinda wondering if there was another spin to read.

I was not surprised given his personality. He is a low-life.

Um... NewsMax. Red alert here.
I'm not gonna bother reading the article because I already know the vehement party rhetoric it's going to spew forth. But if it's true, would be pretty interesting explaining that one away, but probably no more important than that.

"Senator, I am Ted Sampley, the head of Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, and I am here to escort you away from the Wall because you do not belong here."
I'd flip him off too.

Assuming that this is a true story, I have two thoughts on this one.
First: Kerry was just exercising his right to free speech.
Second: I don't want a President with that little restraint or regard to the audience of his "speeches".

As much as I think Kerry is a joke, I think it's funny he flipped the guy off. He has every right to.. as a presidential canidate he should have more tact and handled it differently. We're all human, though.. he did the right thing.

wow. I got a real kick out of that.
I think Kerry was in his right to do that. simply because he was being told to vacate a public premesis. last i checked no one has the right to tell someone to get off public property arbitrarily, and if this has changed then there's a big problem.
It would be different if it was a kid defacing the premesis, but cmon. Kerry was just standing there minding his own business.

I'm more interested in figuring out what four letter word that deserves to be censored can be prefixed with "an"... give me a hint???

It was a$$hat.
I don't know why it only rated 4 stars, I think it's worthy of more than 4

when i say i don't give 2 shits it only uses 4 stars too. apparently thats the default. everything is either 3 or 4 stars. even words not normally considered swear words.

Actually, its the way the swear was entered into the filter list. *sh

it* covers combinations like dipsh

it and sh

ithead. It will also use the replace text to replace anything with that combination with that text no matter how long it is, which means the same four stars that would normally censor sh

it would censor bullsh

it the same way.
(note: What I just did here to bypass the word filter is technically against the board policy, so please don't do it anywhere other than the NHB. What I did here was for demonstration and general education purposes only.)
