Yeah, and when the news broke that we had captured one of the ringleaders in the Benghazi attack, what were the headlines on all the right wing rant sites that very day? Breathless news that milk, eggs and meat prices were going way up. Not a peep about catching one the perps and giving Obama a modicum of credit.

Well, we should have a parade, and thank the guy who makes over 400 grand a year for doing his job.

Funny, they say Baier was asking the same questions that had been answered already.
Answered....yes...she gave an 'answer' but it was her typical ass covering non answer. Any journalist who wants the truth would keep asking.
BAIER: You didn't speak to him that night?

CLINTON: I didn't. You know, I can't recall. I know that the Defense Department was in the room in the video conference that I held.
So I find your source to be quite a spin fest. You are right, you do seem desperate.

Yeah, like keeping quiet when he does do something right, and yelling and screaming like maniacs when he doesn't.

The drones are not allowed to recognize anything he does right. Everything gets a negative spin.

Well, some of you have disqualified anybody’s right to criticize, so why the hell should anybody give the “★■◆● president” (YOUR WORDS vision) any credit.

I started out giving the president credit where credit was due, an example was the Somali pirate thing…but after he decided to make me into a scapegoat on healthcare I said a few things that you guys didn’t like…result…name calling.

So likea screw you.

Cry wolf all the time and see how people stop paying attention.

If people are “crying wolf” then why do you feel the need to come running to his defense…because you sure do. (every time)

Because I like to call out bull★■◆●. The concurrent Iraq thread is a perfect example. The president was elected to, among other things, bring the troops home from Iraq, which he did, coordinated with the Iraqis. The president has done an outstanding job of following the will of the people (both the US and Iraqi people), yet in the midst of these current problems some are now bitching about him... for what exactly? Doing what everyone wanted? Do you think that kind of behavior is helpful? Or is it more helpful to be supportive of the people we elect, especially when they do a good job?

No he hasn't. He has done a mediocre job of using that excuse when it serves him. Have you seen his poll numbers? He certainly isn't doing what the people want. The border, health insurance, IRS, VA, on and on. He is not the person you try to make him out to be.
Are you getting paid to pretend he is?

My statement was specifically about Iraq. IRAQ. There are lots of things I don't agree with him on, some that really piss me off. But I acknowledge his accomplishments, something a decent person would do, and something I get called an Obama-bot for. Well, if pointing out something good makes me a robot, then please get me a solid state brain and lithium cells for a heart because I don't need to be human anymore.

Also, if you want more done about the Border and VA, get your buddies to release some funding.

Most of the people I have heard from (from respectable news sources) say the VA problems have very little to do with funding, and point to things like bonuses for job performance, and other cultural problems.

And I bet the problems at the border have little or nothing to do with funding either…I would wager that we just don’t have the experience to deal with the problem yet.

...................................

As I see it…the VA may well have a funding problem…but how to hell do you make that case to congress while you are COOKING THE BOOKS to make everything look groovy. (to get those bonuses)

This is probably more illustrative of Obama's typical kind of action:

Out of curiosity, what should Obama do? I know he's waffled, but Americans don't want to send troops back into Iraq, so he's between a rock and a hard place.

Personally, what I'd do is round up every idiot NeoCon in the country, including Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, stick them in a plane with the likes of John McCain and Lindsey Graham, arm them with assault rifles and plenty of ammo, then parachute them into Iraq so's they can put back that cork they pulled out of the Iraqi bottle and say "Good luck cleaning up your mess".

Granted, the situation(s) in Iraq/Afghanistan were there when Obama took office- but you DON'T tell the enemy "We're leaving on such-and-such a date" regardless of the lack of stability and security of the countries involved.

If you're the taliban or ISIS, you just wait a little while and run in when the Americans leave- because you know they're leaving no matter how weak and unprepared your opposition is. It's like handing the enemy your battle plans.

Nobody wants an open ended commitment anywhere- but as soon as there is a vacuum, look out.
