Descent 1 and 2 model extractor

Some of you may have seen that I print and paint 3D models from Descent. I've gotten a lot of requests to do the Pyro-GX, but specifically the one from in-game. Problem is, I don't have the model file, and any program that could extract the models from the game files seems to be so out-dated it just won't run on my 64-bit Windows 7 machine. Does anybody know of a program that can extract these files, or maybe even have the model files extracted?
