I married into a family of mutants and my wife tricked me in to creating more.
both my wife and sister in law have 3 kidneys. And we recently found out my 3 month old grandson also has 3 kidneys. Well yesterday we found out his mother, my daughter has 4 kidneys and two spleens.
I'm sorrounded by mutants

Where are the extra kidneys? Are they all fully functioning?

Think, they could donate those extra kidneys and help save some lives. Don't know about the extra spleens tho.

Make no mistake, my brothers, the humans will draw first blood. When the air is still and the night has fallen, there is only one question you must answer. Who will you stand with?

Draw first blood? But all a kidney does is draw blood through itself.
It's got full access to all the blood!
Anyway I stand with the kidney people cuz they've got a richer flavour.

So does that mean they can drink a lot more booze, or that they go pee 50% more often than you do?
Are they also skinny? A VERY significant portion of your metabolism is in your kidneys, so having an extra I think would give you a skinny advantage.

Ethanol has to be filtered by the liver before the kidneys can draw it out of the blood... so unfortunately, if they can consume copious quantities of booze, it has nothing to do with their kidney count.

I have a close family member who's in need of a kidney transplant. Maybe we can work something out, since they seem to have plenty to spare.

wow, CUDA. Just about all I can say, but it does speak to the genetics involved. Mutation? Sure, but clearly a benign one. You all can make a fortune on the organ exchanges!
