Just an opinion Russian American who has long lived in the United States.

The restriction of the rights of individuals on the basis of nationality - it is common international practice. Why an EU citizen can go to the US without a visa, and me - no? Chauvinism? As long as I see that chauvinism - this is when the state government of New Jersey requires that my 6 year old daughter Clara to prove to them that it does not have tuberculosis, before coming to school.
Because she is from Russia. Chauvinists - is most Americans who adopt Russian children. Most Americans who adopt, or adopt locally available black children, or Chinese (the largest number) .Russia and partly Romania - the only country where you can adopt a fairly small and white children. The fact that Russian children in contrast to the Chinese much problem, because of the almost one hundred percent of prenatal alcohol and even drugs, known to all. Since when did the United States in general have become the promised land for the orphans? Living conditions of millions of children in the United States and its social services and trusteeship system - horrible, unjust and cruel. This was in the United States know everything. This is not only you know, because you do not live in the US, and they do not wash their dirty linen in public.

I was just talking with my brother-in-law today on that very topic, home defense. He owns a gun now, but a long time ago, he didn't. Someone broke into his home in Vegas because the bedroom door was ajar on a hot night. That someone was armed with a knife, probably one that came from my BIL's own kitchen, because it seems the guy had been in the house for a while before my BIL woke up. Well, my BIL only had a 2X4 club and a slingshot handy as home defense. He first grabs the 2X4 club he had close by and tells the guy he's going to club him. The intruder shows his knife and says he's going to cut HIM. So my BIL turns to the side for a second to grab his trusty slingshot, like he's going to try and shoot the guy. To make a long story short, the intruder had taken the slingshot too, so it wasn't there to even grab. My BIL turns back to use the only weapon he has, the 2X4 club, and by that time, the intruder had turned and fled over the fence. Lucky for both of them.
