who's your next Governor? By the way, note how the Dems refused to cover this one's butt when he did wrong.

Well, when ol' Kitzhaber decided he needed to have a bunch of personal emails purged from state servers, that single action put the nail in his coffin. It looked bad even if Kitzhaber wasn't guilty, which I personally think he was by the way. He and his girlfriend were rubbing each other's backs politically. There are no secrets in the bedroom. The Dems knew it too and threw him under the bus just to save their party's reputation. Politicians never learn.
Never, ever say anything in a personal email you don't want the public to see. And don't be stupid enough to store those emails on state servers and
especially emails that may contain illicit matters that may come back to haunt you, because trying to delete those emails after the fact will always set off the alarm bells of guilt to the press and the attorney general.
I didn't vote for him back during the election because his little girlfriend scandal was just starting to stink up his campaign and I figured that, like all politicians, the stink would soon become a really rotten problem. There was just too much going on concerning his little tramp of a young girlfriend. Too bad his little head did the thinking for his big head. Now Kitzhaber's long and accomplished political career is over and forever sullied, all for the love of a little young flesh. Boys. I hope she was worth it Kitzhaber.

That it is remarkable the Dems didn't try to save him isn't anything to celebrate.
And how do you know they didn't or that the reason they stopped was only because they calculated winning the fight was impossible?
Are you giving credit where it may not be deserved?

The Dems figured he is being replaced by a bi-sexual secretary of state so it is a win win situation.

That matters how? I didn't even know she was bisexual until this whole thing blew up and the media commented on it. Kate Brown has been in Oregon politics for a long time too. Whatever happened to the conservative's mantra of keeping that sort of thing private anyway? Pervert.
By the way, according to our Constitution, we have to hold an election in 2016 to officially replace the resigning gov., so the Dems will have to find someone else if her sexuality issue becomes a liability.
