“We can’t allow D.H.S. [to] not be funded,” said Representative Peter T. King, Republican of New York. “People think we’re crazy. There’re terrorist attacks all over the world, and we’re talking about closing down Homeland Security. This is like living in the world of the crazy people.”

What...we are all more likely to be hit by lightning than do be killed by a terrorist.

we'll wish to test what part of that fact is due to DHS efforts? Why?

If we have a open boarders policy, tell me again why we need the DHS?

I love how even the Senate was able to put political dick-waving aside for long enough to vote 98-2 on going ahead with a clean funding bill earlier this week, yet the House couldn't do jack-★■◆●. Can we just impeach all 435 of them for being total assholes?

Hey it took a lot of work to get my "total ★■◆●" merit badge, and I think it would be discriminatory to set a precedent that would keep us out of public office. :P

Kidding aside I see the trend toward being so generally unhappy with the arms of our government as a negative one. This is the way our country is supposed to get things done, and if the assholes in D.C. have turned it into a reality show then we need to be sending them a message one rep at a time.

we don't, though. And, even if we did, homeland security covers a LOT more than immigration.
Oh, and once again.....borders are national boundries. Boarders are folks who you are feeding.

Well if you wanted to get technical, a border is something that defines an edge, so you can nit pick a spelling error, but you should at least use the proper correction when you do it.

And don’t give me any context BS, unless you don’t really understand the concept of nit picking.

No, because the only people around here that use that god…awful law are on your side.
