Interesting video of a AA fuel dragster snapping in half. The interesting part is it snaps without hitting anything. The amazing part is the driver walks away:

That was spectacular. It looked like there must have been a defect in the front structure of the racer. The front spoiler is supposed to help keep the nose of the racer glued to the pavement at speed. But it looks like the engine torque won out.
