How to switch the perspective with the Curve Generator?

The curve generator in DLE is a very helpful tool, and I've got it figured out for the most part, except for one thing. When you're editing a curve, you've got those two red lines that you can adjust with Ctrl+8 or 9 to add or remove cubes. But I can only seem to be able to edit the line from the side I activated the curve generator on. How to switch to the opposite end of the tunnel?

I had a look at 1.12.4... it appears you can just switch to the "other segment" (spacebar) and use Ctrl+8/9 from there to adjust the other end. Is that not working for you?

Never tried it to be honest

It should work though, now that you've mentioned it.
