Still waiting to find out how a guy who was jailed for attempting to join a jihadist group, and was on probation, got his hands on assault rifles. Except cops do hit innocent bystandards. The onle differnce is, Texas cops seem to be legendary shots.

To be honest, callmeslick, I think the cops were there to protect the attackers from the Texas citizens.

I can guerentee that the open carry guys would love to be out there, even though they'd do a ★■◆● job. However, there would be a army of them, drinking coke and farting, while they complain about their XXXL plate carriers being too expensive.

So the winner had the balls to sign his, eh hem, work. Hmmmm. I hope he sleeps with a gun under his pillow and another in his truck's glove box. Personally, I wouldn't want to get on some jihadist's fatwa list. The stress of having to look over my shoulder everywhere wouldn't be worth it the 2 seconds it took to draw that picture.

the promoter of the event seems to have feared violence, in some interviews I saw. For the record, she is a reprehensible, sorry excuse for a human being, but I had no real issue with this event, beyond being provokative for the sake of being so.

Really? I saw them rocking some SBRs in the photos, but that would be cool if a revolver did make the shot in 2015. As far as I know, almost every department has moved away from revolvers.
