Are you saying we need to police every country on the planet?

They seem to think they can control the climate.

He may have made those comments and came off a little naive, but with humans reproducing at such a high rate, especially in Asia, the risks of mass migration due to climate change (whether the change be unnatural or natural) are greatly increased. This, coupled with hair-trigger governments in the areas that would be most affected and you have a wonderful recipe for more kinds of war.

True. They're either saying they can fix the climate or they're blaming everyone else for changing the climate. If they were really wanting to change anything they'd get out of politics and get into cutting edge chemical and bio engineering.

Actually, neither problem is easy to fix. It's a matter of easier political platitudes. It's far easier to state that we need to change our behaviors and energy usage to address the climate change issue, pass a few bills and say "problem solved" than it is to start up yet another unpopular, expensive, deadly war in a set of countries that don't want us there anyway.
