Maybe so, we've been pretty stupid to keep arming one side or another in all parts of the world, especially the Middle East, all in the effort to get what we want. Plus a lot of bad things were done under Cheney's auspices during 2 long wars that some of our enemies haven't forgotten. The inane decisions this country has made on which side to arm in every conflict we've gotten into lately have always come back to haunt us and we've never learned from those failures. Like Jon Stewart said:
"Learning curves are for pussies". But admit it, we haven't made beheading videos to put online for recruitment sake, recently blown up or destroyed ancient antiquities or kidnapped young girls from their schools just to rape them or sell them into forced marriages either (Boco Haram, different part of the same animal). Monsters.
