for free!

Is that 512kbps or 512 KBps?
Comcast upped thiers from 128 to 256kbps. Still as bad as you cna imagine. Verizon's DSL is still 128kb up. Both are crap. You'd think in this area (I live on the edge of where all the CEO's of Philly live) would have stellar service and rates...hahaha, um, guess not.

Comcast bought out all of the competition in my area. I have no choice but to use them if I evern want to go cable.
And SBC said they would be in our area with DSL. Lots of rich houses here. Yet they arent around, and still yet just 5 miles away is a whole neighborhood that had DSL for quite some time now. It pisses me off.

Satellite is VERY BAD for gaming, unless it's changed since I last heard (we're talking 1sec+ ping times here).

my friend has satellite and its a total POS. Lowest pings I could find anywhere on gamespy were in the 600's.
