they can't find anything out about Benghazi except that talking about it might have hurt someones poll numbers. Now, despite Woody telling me that the case against them for 'selling body parts' was a slam dunk......this? Are these guys just really bad investigators or is it maybe that they were smokescreening the real issues out there?

Salon and Huffington Post? Speak about liberal rag papers.

are the quotes accurate? That's my yardstick, and despite the sources posted, both check out.

Why should I believe liberal propaganda when the blond ditz head of the dnc is accusing the gop of deporting woman if they get the presidency?

Here's the AARP's site and they say the same thing, so they must believe it's true even though most of the information is from gloating leftie sites. Why would a right wing site even report this little admission either? It kinda goes against their propaganda efforts.

Jason Chaffetz wrote:Did I look at the finances and have a hearing specifically as to the revenue portion and how they spend? Yes. Was there any wrongdoing? I didn't find any.

"ARE THE QUOTES IN THE ARTICLE ACCURATE?"
Good question, just how much of my personal time am I supposed to use confirming it?
When I search that quote all I get is the usual internet circle jerk where one rag uses another rag as a source, in some giant echo chamber.
I have no axe to grind with PP or any problem believing that quote, but I can’t answer that question.
............................
AARP is right wing…now see…that’s funny.

I didn't say the AARP was right wing. It's just another site. I can also find Chaffetz's quote on many other sites, although most of them refer back to the Huffington Post, which is leftie. Besides, I seriously doubt ANY right wing site is going to quote Jason Chaffetz with this bombshell of an admission. So did the lefties just make Jason's statement up, then flood the net with it until it eventually becomes the truth? Sounds like what conservatives like to do with their "truths".

none, if you accepted that I was telling the truth when I said I triple-checked it. Or, none if you waited for someone else to post another link. See, wasn't that easy?

I don’t see anywhere you said you triple checked it, and no…I don’t take people at their word concerning this kind of thing, because I have no idea how you verified it.
Perhaps you could explain how you checked the accuracy of that quote, then I could do the same.

my bad....I was confusing a reply to the same topic on another board. I google the Representative quoted, and tossed in 'Planned Parenthood Investigation' into google. As noted, many links go back to the HuffPo article, but it was reported in a few other newspapers and sites.

for the record, re-doing my search from the other day generates 3 or 4 pages, essentially ALL linking to the Huffington piece, before you get to the Utah public radio or Salt Lake City newspaper page. There are independant confirmations from KStreet and a couple other predominantly left-wing sites. What this is, of course, is a reflection of the current level of 'news gathering' selectivity, wherein news that doesn't fit the editorial agenda often doesn't get reported. I cannot blame anyone here for not wishing to slog through 45 references to the SAME FREAKING article.
