Trump blames George W. Bush for 9/11 – 'Say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time' – as Jeb calls attack on his brother 'pathetic'
Stunning accusation comes during Bloomberg Television interview
Trump's mouth is going to sink him if nobody else does.

he makes up ★■◆● about Hispanics, other immigrants from abroad, runs with a set of paranoid fantasies about Obama's birth etc, etc, etc, and NOW you get indignant for saying something which is, historically, accurate. I'm not in the Bush caused 9/11 crowd, but, as President owns the responsibility. He had access to intelligence, some almost specific to the attack which happened, was ultimately in charge of air defense, etc. He was the sitting President. That's the way it works......just like Obama owns a trillion dollar per year drop in deficit spending, a 240 percent rise in the stock market, and, yes, the loss of people in Libya. It's just that the folks getting supposedly worked up over the loss of life in Bengazi, never put close to that level of scrutiny to W being asleep at the helm..........

I never defended or even liked Trump. Dunno where you got that impression. LOL
Trump is a clownshow...one I hope ends soon for all of our sakes (not just Republicans.)
As for the rest of the...stuff you just dribbled all over the screen- CNN isn't alone in being obviously biased.

A trillion a year drop in the deficit? You're smoking some serious crack dude. We just had a record 3 trillion in collected taxes and the govt still spent more than it took in.

don't get out and read much? W left a 1.4 trillion deficit, Obama had to maintain that level during his first year, and at the current rate, this year's deficit is slightly under 400 million. Do the freaking math.

deficit and debt are two different things. Of course, over 55 percent of the debt as it stands is owed to........US, via Fed and other vehicles.

the whole Republican party has become a clown-show....witness Speaker of the House vote, which may well end up with a caretaker situation sharing power with the Dems. Trump reflects an end point which that party has been aiming at for a decade or more, come home to roost.

everyone has biases, but the 'dribbled' stuff was all FACT, and FACT should not have biases. Some folks never grasp that.

The fact that the congress holds the purse strings and not the president, means that the do nothing congress should really get the credit for reducing the deficit.
And the last 7 years prove what I have been saying for many years that, we can grow our way out of the deficit if we just control spending, even with a modest gain in GDP.

except the spending has gone on apace.

had we shown the collective national will to actually up the deficit in 2008-10, we likely would be poised to dominate the next 100 years. Now, I'm not at all sure we are.

Borowitz, as he so often does, nails it: "It is unfair for Trump to blame G W Bush for 9/11, when it happened during the Cheney Presidency"

Is that there some of that “sophisticated” liberal humor?
That wasn't even funny.
