[WIP] D2 single player level - TempestNebula

A little descent 1 themed project (using descent 2 triggers and such for some areas)
So far, a half made, easy-ish first level. Focusing on texture detail, and smaller, shaped spaces.
to gauge interest/see if anyone is alive here anymore??/give me some motivation to finish it.
Give me anything to improve/add etc, if anyone's up for testing it out !

Level is now finishable! However, no work done in the red door, and still lots to add in yellow.

Dayum, the screenshots look pretty! How did you do the blue stripe in the middle of those yellow stripes tho?

The middle part is a separate cube. You can see from the texture (mis)alignments...
Looks cool though, I'd be quite interested if there's a door at the end of the tunnel then what does that end up looking like.

Texture scheme looks a lot like D1's third secret level.

Please no doors on flat walls. You're clearly to good at this to fall into that trap, phozon. :D

Might as someone to go through and put their own enemies and weapons through it,
as that seems the part I am worst at. p:
I felt like getting it done, so i stuck in a temporary reactor and red door area,
but I will finish it properly eventually !
I'm thinking of giving this to the Descent 1.5 project if I can.
(changing anything appropriately of course (what may that be?)
depending which area of levels it is in).

Well I played through the level (as far as I could get anyway), and yeah - I really did like what I saw. I like your attention to detail and how you captured the D1 feel with this level (which you sure did!). Of course it's on the smallish side right now and could afford to be bigger - keep it in mind when finishing it.

As for it being in D1,5 - I can sure see that working out. But we agreed to only use D1 resources for the Solar System levels, so you'd have to swap out some textures here and there. Including the D2 grate. You can download a POG file from the OP in the D1,5 thread - it will contain all the D1 monitors if you fancy putting some into the level.

I could of course just accept this level into the Vertigo portion, but I think being put in the Solar System portion would do it more justice - right now I'm thinking Uranus. But first finish it up :D

Do you mind if I take a shot at building the unfinished parts (along with minor edits here and there)? (I'll mention that I've edited it, and find a non-DMDB place to edit it)

And Xfing... You don't have any Uranian levels on the listing. Umbriel maybe?

oh, hey,,, mhows it going, I just found it again and made a couple extra blocks :s

Did you do anything with it, or do you want the updated version? to make your own things on, because; yes it's definitely great for you to do that!
I'd love to be able to, like, go through the stuff you've done after and maybe stylise a bit.

For the exit I can always use "delshiftb" :P
