Cool! I used to do a lot of work on USAF bases and it never ceased to surprise me when I'd see Sikh pilots wearing turbans with their flight suits. Had a Sikh friend back in Chicago who was super nice, just like every other Sikh I've met.

Minister of Science is a medical geographer with a PhD.

At least Trudeau is putting people in places they have experience in. Yes, he's not a born CDN but he's served 3 times in Afghanistan and been on the Vancouver Police Force for over a decade.

Actually that is a Turban…a keffiyeh is an Arab head dress.

If you want to nitpick, technically the Sikh turban is called a "pagri" or "dastar" and it's mandatory headgear for all Sikh males.

yeah blah blah blah.
anyways, the point is we now have what every other country aspires to have. Full multiculturalism, equal division among the genders, and people who are actually qualified to do the jobs they're given.
the other countries have a good bit to learn from our example.
