The fact that most Republicans believe Carter was one of our worst presidents, what does that say about a Trump Republican presidency if he's calling for the same thing? Imitation in this case would not be the best form of flattery.

The point is- the action has been taken before during times of conflict. The individual citizens of the state which is under conflict have been barred from entering the country.

Both previous times- it has been a democrat that has taken this action. Why should this time be any different?

The Constitution protects freedom of religion for U.S. citizens. But citizens of foreign lands have no constitutional right to migrate. And federal law gives a president broad powers in deciding who comes and who does not, especially in wartime.

Quite a few- or haven't you been keeping up on current events?

Most hostages have been put to death within months (by ISIS and various assorted Syrian 'rebel' groups.) Others, like in the case of Iran, have been thrown into their worst dungeons for 'offenses against islam' or 'offenses against the state' and kept there for years.

Look some up. You'll find quite a few names.

how many Syrians have committed acts in the US? How many Saudis, on the other hand. Plus, neither fact argues for a blanket ban on ALL MUSLIMS which is what was called for by Trump.
