Rahm Emanual is the dear friend of both Hillary and Bill. Funny how neither bill nor Hillary have come out and told Rahm that he should close his secret torture prison. Funny how the Leftist say nothing about it. I guess when your a liberal and a democrat you can get away with this inhumanity:

and, before you bore me with the trite and obvious: I am aware that Rahm served in the Clinton White House. What I want proof of are any real friendship, as I know NO ONE who is actually friendly with Rahm Emanuel. He's an arrogant ass, a partisan ideologue, and most every old Dem hand I know is quietly enjoying his travails in Chicago. Why? Because he's one of those operatives who always knew better than everyone else how to run things, but was never in CHARGE of running things. Now that he is, he's finding out that overcoming decades of systematic screwups isn't easy.

Similar police situations have afflicted a lot of major cities. Philly was REALLY bad, and the problems spanned both Dem and GOP mayors. This isn't a party thing, although it's really easy to say, "Dems control the big cities". For far too long, many of these police departments were just running like separate, extra-governmental agencies, answering very little to anyone. That has come home to roost, over time, in many cities. Now, it is Chicago's turn, and like many others, it won't be pretty. At the end of the day, Chicago will be better for the process.

oh, and can you please try and remember that no one on this board feels that Hillary is the best possible choice for President, but merely vastly superior in all respects to the clowns oozing to the top of the other party's manure heap.

gee, did you suppose I was unaware of that? Actually, and I stated this on the board, the first response Barack Obama got back from me, when my two cents were requested, was my opinion that Rahm Emanuel was the worst possible person to be Chief of Staff if you are trying to build bridges to disparate factions.

Well as I read this NYT article it mentions her friendship with Rahm a couple of times. Now you come up with something showing otherwise.
