Just as freakish as this, right down to the words "liberty" and "freedom". Even though it's from a movie, the same thing went on during Hitler's reign. Funny how people never seem to learn important lessons from history.

Good lord. I couldn't watch more than 30 seconds. That's embarrassing for anyone, regardless of political party. All this does is confirm to me that his candidacy is an elaborate piece of play acting.

So using kids as props is OK?
Politics: Instead of providing them the same armed security his children get, the president exploits children as stage props to repeal a Second Amendment they haven't been, and likely never will be, taught about.

Of course when your guy does it, it is OK/

using kids as props happens. Running a nouveau edition of Hitler youth rallies, or North Korean public displays, not so much. Brown shirt, optional.

Not to me it isn't. No politician should. I think it's tacky.

Slightly exaggerated. We're not quite to the brown-shirt stage, there. Besides the same was done for Obama numerous times, and he's your boy, so...

Yeah, it's disingenuous having kids represent something they can't hope to grasp. Might be considered cute, if there was any merit to the content...

Personally I think putting someone like Trump in the White House after Obama has flexed the oval office's executive muscles so much could be a bad thing. Trump could be Bush Jr.-Zilla, and despite his unlikely political path and background, I think he may have more of a shot than some are willing to admit.

please stick to the truth. Find me one instance of kids singing some sort of 'patriotic' song about national strength at any Obama event. One.

if you find that REMOTELY close in tone and creepiness, NS, something is seriously wrong with you.

Hypocrite.

Yeah, nothing creepy about little kids extolling a man as someone who is going to change the world and taking on his cause as their own... Admittedly a different tone there.

National strength would be kosher as far as I'm concerned, slick, so long as the principles considered to be behind strength were sound (not singing against non-Americans or non-Caucasians, for instance).

As horrible as that Sing For Change video is, there lies an important distinction. This video was a fan-made work, a grassroots effort, and had no affiliation with Obama's campaign in 2008. Personally I think the song sucks and I am against using children in any kind of political or religious promotions. Still, the only difference between Sing For Change and some other random Obama supporter filming their kid is that this video has better production than a cell phone. It's in a different category than the Trump video above, which appears to be endorsed by The Don.

So singing religious praise of Obama is OK? Isn't this what they do in N.Korea?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with NS, woody and Spidey. What NS posted is just as creepy as what slick and I posted. No children should be used for political shoe shining and cheerleading.

I can agree totally with TC on this one.

I'd agree in principle, but have seen enough children, spouses and family pets dragged out over the years to be a bit jaded. Hence, when the Donald Youth were singing that song, for it to appall me at this point says something.

Must of appalled you the same way forcing kids to sing the praise of Obama did me. At least the kids in your vid had a choice.
