Nice animated map from NASA. 2014 was the warmest year on record since records were kept in the 1800's. Not that the denialists will give a damn.

I would think a Luddite would be more likely to point to industrialization's harmful effect on the climate. There was no need to besmirch Ludd's good name just to make your argument.

Just some actors continue to use natural phenomena for personal purposes, for example, the interconnection of cyclic variations of inclination of the Earth and climate change, as in ancient times shamans to frighten people of their tribe - "Soon the sky will fall on the ground, so vote for me, I can fix it!
