What the Hell!
Ok I've found the modem drivers for this Smart Link 56k and installed is.
When I want to test is or connect I get this Error 633. I've done a little searching and everything says that the cause is if I already have an active broadband connection.
So what am I doing wrong now. I have a LAN setup. It was setup for internet sharing when I installed the modem. So I Installed the modem again with Internet sharing of and the network as it should be at work (PC at my home right now - needs to fix this modem issue). This means that the pc also was setup to autocennect to 3 other PC but they weren't linked up so that aint it right?
So what must I do? I'm like stuck. Another thing XP doesn't always dedect the modem when it is uninstalled to reinstall it? Can this also contribute to the problem?
