I thought college campii were gun free zones? Why then do the campus police feel the need to posses high velocity assault style rifles?:

Gun free zones are stupid, because you can’t enforce them, but I never imagined they applied to law enforcement.

Better armed security makes sense to me...arming teachers, that’s debatable, with good and bad points on both sides.

A darn good reason for drivers to never carry guns in their cars. People tend to go crazy when they're behind the wheel and are more likely to shoot someone dead during an altercation.
