In Christianity-

You're taught who to love.

In islam-

You're taught who to hate.

I only agree with this if by Christianity you mean Christianity as taught in the Gospels, not Christianity as is commonly practiced today. A large part of the Gospels was about rejecting cultural taboos and loving your neighbor, even if they're Samaritans, prostitutes, or tax collectors. By looking at the way that some Christians post here, it's clear though who the modern day Samaritans, prostitutes, and tax collectors are that they've substituted.

If you mean Hillary Clinton, who fits all three of your categories, then I am guilty....

Makes you wonder what Jesus himself would think of all the factions of Christianity that are being practiced today. Would he approve, or disapprove, or just say "Let's all love each other like human beings, no matter what our persuasions or tribal affiliations".

Just about every thread, he has to get a dig in on hilliary. It's like he's obsessed with her or something.

Maybe he secretly LOVES her. You know, one of those love, hate relationships. :P

both Christianity and Islam preach love and tolerance, in theory. In practice, not so much. Maybe the issue is religion.....

Strangely enough, my friends who were raised in atheist households are some of the most ethical and humanitarian people I've ever met. It is quite amazing how growing up without the concept of absolute good and evil can make people more insightful, introspective, and compassionate.

Heh…nothing…it was just a reality check, in an attempt to stop your atheist love fest, before I got the urge to puke.
