Showing her desperation

Hillary now is for coal?:

Hillary Clinton has a very complicated opinion of coal. In March, she proudly declared, "we are going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business."

Now, she says she wants to see coal "continued to be sold and continued to be mined."

I guess she just realized coal miners vote.

Good grief, people must be blind idiots. I dislike her so much, I re-registered as a Democrat from an Independent this year just so I could vote in the primary and flip the bird at Hillary by giving my vote to Bernie. Not that my lone vote is going to stop the Hillary steamroller.

Over the past few months I've had some good discussions about Mrs Clinton with friends who support her outright and those who don't. The result of these conversations is: "it's complicated." Once you start really digging in to deeper and deeper questions about the presidency and how our government works you start to realize that, as much as people don't like or trust her, she is still the most qualified to lead the country. If she gets the Democratic nomination (very likely) I'll vote for her. I don't like her, but I really think she's a somewhat better choice than Cruz and a much better choice than Trump.

Let me state for the record that I think all the current candidates, including Kasich, would do a good job as president, each with their own different strengths, and many of the differences between them are superficial in the grand scheme of things.

Good Lord no. The man is an egomaniac psychopath with absolutely no executive experience and no patience or impulse control.

vision, I may dislike her in the extreme, but when it comes down to the final push, I'll have to gag down my vote and choose her over Trump. However, she made it even more difficult for me today because she said she'd actually have a place in her administration for her husband Bill when she was speaking to some supporters in Indiana. I really don't want him anywhere near the White House. Crap, maybe I'll move to Canada.

If you want to vote for a lying snake then that is your prerogative TC. Here is how she weasels words wheen confronted by a coal miner:

“I just want to know how you can say you’re going to put a lot of coal miners out of, out of jobs, and then come in here and tell us how you’re going to be our friend, because those people out there don’t see you as a friend,” Copley said, sometimes breaking into tears, as the chants of the protesters were heard outside.

Clinton however said her comments in March were a “misstatement,” and that she has been talking about helping out coal country “for a very long time.”

“What I was saying is that the way things are going now, we will continue to lose jobs,” Clinton said Monday. “That’s what I meant to say, and I think that that seems to be supported by the facts. I didn’t mean that we were going to do it, what I said was, that is going to happen unless we take action to try to and help and prevent it.”

Didn't sound like that back in March. Have fun with her TC when she ruins the country even more than Obama has.

Yeah, she's a flip flopping panderer, but at least she's mentally sane. Trump fits the definition of a psychopath. No remorse and no empathy. Just the kind of guy I want leading our military.

I suggest TC you look at Trumps kids. All are well mannered and don't hang out at the bar like the Bush girls. A psyco doesn't have a family like that. The only real psyco we had as president is Bill Clinton and you have no problem with him skulking around the White House exposing his little boy penis to the interns. Go ahead...vote for Hillary, the woman who helped cover up Bills psychotic tendencies. I'm sure she is more sane than Trump is

For one thing, Trump's kids look like a couple of spoiled, snotty preppies with haughty attitudes who've never experienced poverty or adversity and could care less about us dirty poor lowlifes that live in the rest of the country. At least Bush's daughters acted like normal people, by going to a bar to have some fun, like a lot of normal people do. I've been into bars many times in the past to enjoy a beer with my co-workers after work.

FYI, I am NOT comfortable with Bill Clinton worming his way around the White House with his zipper open and his mouth flapping. However, he's not psychotic, he's just an oversexed adulterer whom Hillary should have dumped ages ago. He IS one of the reasons I don't want Hillary as President. However, I'm even LESS comfortable with a man who DOES fit the definition of a psychotic, a remorseless, non-emphatic, short tempered, arrogant, lying, egomaniac blowhard like Trump. I don't want him sitting in the Oval Office making any kind of policy. I'm betting we'll be into nuclear war with Russia on his first day just so he can prove to the world he's got the bigger dick.

True. Obama's kids look that way, especially after 8 years living in the White House. Rich, spoiled and arrogant. Money and power does tend to do that to people. So what do you think that will do to Trump's kids? Turn them into monsters?

Obama's girls are, truly, KIDS, and as such, ridiculing them with the ridiculous assertions above, Woody, is both classless and ignorant. Moreover, given the fishbowl they just spent 8 years swimming in, those two are amazingly well balanced, and seem to both be very decent young ladies. It is a credit to the President and first lady that such is the case. They are both VERY dedicated parents, and it shows. What also shows, Woody, is your relentless willingness to stoop to any depth to make up bull★■◆● to toss at Obama. The perfect Trumpite, it would seem. I am quite confident that by November it will be clear that most of us don't work that way. At all. Enjoy the ride.

No, I disagree. I'm sure they are both still really nice girls at their core, but I think 8 years of living in the Hallowed Halls of the White House have warped them. Going to Harvard...give me a break. Nothing but an uber hoytie toytie snootville for rich, well-to-do kids. How many middle class kids get to take a gap year (first time I've heard of THAT term) and then get to charge off to Harvard, all probably paid for in full without any student loan. I'm sure Malia is a nice woman now, but once you get into the upper echelons of society and live there for a while, your sense of entitlement and purpose drastically changes.

geezus, TC, you ARE aware that people come from ALL OVER THE ★■◆●ing WORLD to go to Harvard, and that it is likely the finest school on the planet to study many subjects(don't know what Malia plans). How the hell can you find the arrogance to say that those two girls are warped? Care to give some evidence, beyond what is clearly becoming apparent as jealousy of the well educated or well off?

I most certainly wouldn't be able to afford to go there and I'm thoroughly middle class. I'm betting that most of the people in this country wouldn't be able to afford Harvard, nor have the grade point requirements either. It's great that Malia Obama has the smarts and can afford to go to Harvard. Lucky her.

the thing that most folks don't grasp about the Ivys when they go with NO FREAKING KNOWLEDGE, is that most of the traditional and also the Southern Ivy League schools have massive endowments. Thus, a pretty healthy chunk of every freshman class is on full or substantial scholarship. Few out there get the whole tuition bill who cannot afford it. Where the tuition affordability issue comes into play is the floating up of state colleges and small private schools, with less money for scholarships and reliance on student loans. Something else you seem FAR too willing to dismiss is that far too large a chunk of the nation simply isn't educated well enough to survive Harvard, or UVa, Duke, Yale, etc.

Woody, if it makes you feel better, apologies for the garbled nature of that whole post. I was replying to TC, but aware that you've taken every opportunity to impugn and ridicule Obama, and was also trying to point out that attacks upon children who are minors is different than commentary on grown adults(the Trumps kids discussion).
