yesterday marked the absolute end of the modern bastardization of Conservatism. No doubt about it. There is utterly nothing about Trump which is socially conservative, nothing of a Constitutional originalist, and as noted in the foreign policy speech defionitely not a neo con. That crazy bull★■◆● aboput gay marriage, probably even drug policy and that goofy interventionist crap has been purged from the GOP

Sadly slick, you once again miss it by a mile. What you see ending is people like you being able to control a party. The whole Trump phenomena is one of rejection. Elitists and their donated money no longer means you win the race. Voters got fed up with the lies they been spoon fed just to get another politician elected. It still remains when Trump is elected president if he doesn't turn into a two faced politician. We will see.

My bet still stands also. And the Republican party stopped being a conservative party decades ago. Unless the Tea Party goes rogue we won't have any conservative party.

I'd start calling it the "NeoNazi Party" right now since they've gone so far to the right. In fact, Republicans have gone sooooo far right, they've almost entered into Anarchist territory.

Well, yes, those that call themselves Republicans and Democrats anymore have essentially chummed up and created the Plutocrat Party. Only the tea party has moved to the extreme right, while Sanders and his supporters have moved to the extreme left. The schisms have widened between them, so who will prevail?
