of course, most of it is subject to change.......your guy is coming around to Bernie Sanders-land, now, Woody!

and you all plan an attack on Hillary around 'honesty'?

Right, now that the primaries are almost over it's time to move from "lying to the" base to "lying to the opposition."

and, to TBs original link: it's going to be fun waiting for the next Woody outburst about George Soros' "left wing" influence in politics.

Yours is a meaningless topic, TB. No point in joining the troll crowd.

Just wondering if you're regretting your support of Trump yet....
I'll bet you soon will if you haven't started to already.

what is the LEAST bit meaningless when Trump abandons the ENTIRE moral high ground he attempted to claim by not really self-funding, and, moveover moving to a Geroge Soros employee to raise cash? Likewise, given I quickly tacked on the other link, what is meaningless trolling about your boy showing utterly no clue about how government finance works while simultaneously letting us all see his true morality, borrowing money with no real committment to paying back. His proposal, even if he never got by proposing it, should he get elected, would destroy the economy of the US, and probably take down most of the western world, while allowing China to maintain the benchmark currency status it has desired for a while.
Trolling? It would seem both items are nearly central to what Trump supporters need to defend, explain and justify if they wish to have ANY shot at keeping this election competetive.

Ok, that's a bit dramatic. It's doubtful he could do THAT much damage, but some bad policies might hurt.

vision, you underestimate the effect of the POTUS suggesting that he seeks to pay back less than full on Treasury bonds. The Chinese must be doing a dance just hearing a candidate for the job is stupid enough to make the suggestion.

First off, hiring someone to run his campaign finances is not putting him in his administration. Trump picked what he believed was a well qualified person to handle the finances. Sorry, no regret here. What is curious is that now that Trump is the Rep. nominee, you still want to bash him. I suppose at this point you are a admirer of Hillary and want to see her as your next president. Even Vicente Fox knows when to back off, but you...?

Moral high ground? Are you joking? Compared to Hillary, Trump should be put up for sainthood. Would you like me to list real immoral deeds as done by Hillary. Nice try at deflecting attention from Hillary. Both you and TB ought to go work on her campaign staff.

you are delusional, Woody. All TB and I(hardly ideological compadres, based on prior reading here) are pointing out is that Trump is NOT, IN ANY WAY, either morally or intellectually even in Hillary's league, let alone Sanders.

lol.... Not quite slick- Hillary is basically a criminal and Trump is a scam artist. Sanders is a pleasant old dude with delusional ideas about achieving Utopia- which will never happen...but at least he's honest about his ideals.
What I'm pointing out is that Trump has scammed Woody and millions of other voters who voted emotionally and not rationally.
What I see coming is massive regret on Trump's wood-be supporters once they see what he really is.

What is the legal justification for this? I can't imagine anyone being stupid enough to try it and somehow convincing the legislature to go along with it.

So what if he won't be able to do it, the mere suggestion will have a negative impact on confidence.

vision, the problem is that the POTUS can exert power over the Fed, which controls such matters.

Ok, I'll buy that. I just think that the Fed are smarter than Trump so he couldn't possibly make that a reality. But I'll agree with Vander that mentioning such a thing can be damaging, just not enough for an apocalyptic scenario where the global economy collapses.

Haha...Hillary has scammed YOU guys so well that you don't even see it happening. Enjoy your Hillary world. And please, don't slide the emo voting condition the liberals like you exhibit to the people supporting Trump. I suggest you stop listening to NPR.

kudos to Trump for reminding the bulk of the citizenry that the current occupant really has been pretty damned good at the job. If there was a way to simply re-elect him until the nation could find someone deserving.........

I agree. One of my friends is a rarity in that she is vocal supporter of Mrs Clinton. She really would prefer Obama stay in office at least another four years.

Lets see, stories have just come out that the Iranian negotiations were a lie as presented by the Obama regime and just today a story of how our Afghanistan troops are not in combat is also a lie:
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/09/world ... trike.html
http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/Ben-Rh ... id/727569/
So lets see how the next Obama approval ratings go. Of course a compliant press will not keep hammering away at these stories as they would if Trump was in charge.
Note: the afghanistan story is a compelling read as it high lights the ineptitude of our military high command and how soldiers have to make decisions without input from their commanders.

That gets right to the definition of what is fair and just. As a lover of the constitution don't you want to see laws upheld with consistency?

yes, and as I noted, the policy and practice is identical to how modern administrations(at least every one over the past 30 years or so, and likely before) have 'sold' policy to the public. Nothing wrong, in fact, that I can see, but of course, there is the usual rush to attack Obama as doing something terrible and bizarre.
