I've noticed that people have generally liked modern Sonic games less than older Sonic games, thus leading me to wonder what most people think that they should/shouldn't have.

What do you think should (or shouldn't) be in the next Sonic game, or any Sonic game in general?

They probably shouldn't have alcoholism. Like, Sonic getting wasted then beating his girl friend then crashing his body into a mini-van would be very bad. They probably shouldn't have that.

I'd like a Sonic game that is 3rd-hedgehog, and really gives the player the feel of having so much speed at their disposal, with a super-fast mode that's more like bullet-time. Go with the dark, more realistic Sonic universe.

Also what Isaac said. That would be a terrible idea... but a drunk-running Sonic the Hedgehog cut-scene would make for a good easter egg.

I foresee sonic sex at such high speed that you don't even see it happening.
